Active Help Pty Ltd ("Active Help", "we", "us") is a registered NDIS provider. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and the NDIS Code of Conduct. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can access or correct it.

What we collect

How we collect it

Directly from you (forms, emails, agreements), from partner clinics delivering supports on our behalf, and from the NDIA where needed to claim for supports.

Why we use it

Who we share it with

Only as needed for these purposes: the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, the partner clinic and practitioner delivering the support, plan managers where relevant, our auditors, and service providers that host our email and systems. We do not sell personal information. Some of our service providers, such as email hosting, may store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.

Storage and security

We keep personal information in secure systems with restricted access, and keep records for as long as the NDIS rules and the law require (generally 7 years). After that we securely destroy or de-identify them.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing admin@activehelp.com.au. If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. NDIS participants can also contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission on 1800 035 544.
