Treat NDIA-managed participants. We handle the NDIS side.
Your clinic delivers therapy as our subcontractor, under Active Help's NDIS registration, so you don't need your own. We prepare the agreements, claim from the NDIA and pay you.
NDIA-managed participants can only use registered providers.
Registering yourself means audits, policies, worker screening, portal claiming and ongoing compliance work. For many small clinics it isn't worth it, so those participants go elsewhere.
Registering on your own
- An audit by an approved auditor, and again at renewal
- Policies, incident and complaints systems, record keeping
- NDIA portal claiming and payment reconciliation
- Often months before your first claim
With Active Help
- See NDIA-managed participants once your team is onboarded
- We hold the registration and prepare every service agreement
- We arrange NDIS Worker Screening linkage for your practitioners
- You email invoices. We claim, reconcile and pay you.

Is this allowed under NDIS rules?
Yes. The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission allows a registered provider to deliver supports through subcontracted entities and workers. The registered provider bills for the supports and stays accountable for them. That's why we require NDIS Worker Screening, current professional registration, insurance, the NDIS Code of Conduct, and a signed service agreement with each participant that names your clinic.
Does my clinic become "NDIS registered"?
No. Your clinic stays unregistered and delivers supports to NDIA-managed participants as a subcontractor under Active Help's registration. Please don't describe your clinic as NDIS registered.
Do I need to change my practice software?
No. Keep your current system and email us the invoice it produces. Cliniko, Splose, Nookal and similar are all fine.
What does it cost?
One simple percentage of each claim the NDIA pays, deducted before we pay you. There are no setup, monthly, audit or exit fees, so you only pay when you're paid. Ask us for the details, or see the clinic agreement.
How often do I get paid?
We run payments twice a week. Once the NDIA pays us, you're paid in our next run, with a remittance each time.
Will you send us patients?
No. Our service is claiming and compliance, and we don't promise referrals. Once you can accept NDIA-managed participants, you can let local support coordinators know you're available.
What about plan-managed and self-managed patients?
Keep invoicing them as you do now. You don't need us for those. We're for NDIA-managed participants only.
Ready to accept NDIA-managed participants?
Tell us about your clinic and we'll send the agreement within one business day. No obligation.
