How it works with Active Help: a worked example

You see an NDIA-managed client for a 50-minute psychology session.

  1. The client signs Active Help's participant service agreement. We give you the ready-made template.
  2. You deliver the session as usual and send us your invoice.
  3. Active Help claims $209.98 from the NDIA (0.83 × the $252.99 national limit).
  4. You're paid in our Wednesday or Friday pay run, usually 2–3 business days after the NDIA pays, less one simple percentage of each paid claim. You get a remittance for every invoice.

Why psychology practices work with Active Help

NDIA-managed participants can only use registered providers, so unregistered practices usually have to turn them away. Participants with complex needs are more likely to be NDIA-managed, so this affects psychology more than most therapies. Working under Active Help's registration lets you say yes, and the clients stay yours.

Unregistered psychology practice? See NDIA-managed participants too.

Deliver psychology to NDIA-managed participants as a subcontractor under Active Help's registration. We prepare the agreements, claim these items from the NDIA and pay you twice a week, usually 2–3 business days after the NDIA pays. There are no setup, audit or exit fees.
